Booking a photographer is exciting, but it also comes with lots of questions, and that’s completely normal.

Whether you’re planning your wedding, a family session, or a milestone you want to remember forever, I’m here to make the experience easy, relaxed, and joyful from start to finish.

I’ve gathered the most common questions below to help you feel fully informed and at ease.

General Questions

Where are you based, and do you travel for shoots?

I’m based in Gqeberha, formally called Port Elizabeth, South Africa, but I love to travel! If you need me outside of PE, just let me know, and we can discuss travel arrangements.

How do I book a shoot with you?

Simply fill out the contact form on my website, call me or contact me via Whatsapp and share a few details about your session or wedding day. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible with availability, pricing, and next steps.

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings, I recommend booking 6 months in advance.
For lifestyle sessions, 2-6 weeks is usually perfect.
That said; if you’re on a tight timeline, reach out anyway! If I can fit you in, I absolutely will.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Life happens! I allow one reschedule per booking (subject to availability). Please notify me as soon as possible if you need to change your session date.Weddings, however, follow a separate agreement based on your contract.

Do you edit all the images?

Yes! Every photo you receive is professionally edited in my signature style — warm, emotional, natural, and true to the moment. I don’t provide unedited (RAW) images.

What should we wear for our session?

Neutrals, soft tones, minimal patterns and simple textures work best, but more importantly wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident!

What if my kids don’t sit still for photos?

Perfect! I don’t expect them to. My approach is playful, relaxed, and movement-based, which means kids can be exactly who they are. Those candid, chaotic, loving moments often become the family favourites.

Where do your lifestyle sessions take place?

Anywhere that feels meaningful to you — your home, a beach, a forest, a field, a city corner, or a place your family loves. If you need ideas, I have plenty of beautiful locations to recommend.

Can we bring our pets?

Absolutely. Pets are part of the family, and they’re always welcome. Just let me know ahead of time though, so I can plan accordingly.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes! Engagement sessions are a beautiful way to celebrate your story — and they’re a great way for us to get comfortable working together before your wedding.

Can we include multiple outfit changes in our session?

Yes. Two outfits are perfect for most sessions — something relaxed and something a bit more elevated.

Do you help with the wedding timeline?

Definitely. I’ll help you plan a photography-friendly timeline to make sure your day flows naturally and every important moment is beautifully captured.

Do you offer engagement sessions with your wedding packages?

Yes I do.  Most of my wedding collections are accompanied by complimentary engagement sessions.  If, however, you chosen collection does not include an engagement session, you’re welcome to book one in addition to your wedding booking.

What is your approach on the wedding day?

I blend natural documentary-style storytelling with gentle direction where needed. I capture all the real emotion, small details, and in-between moments while keeping the experience calm, fun, and easy.

Do you work with a second photographer?

A second photographer is available as an add-on. It’s helpful for larger weddings, getting ready in separate locations, and fuller coverage of moments happening simultaneously.

How many images will we receive?

Every wedding is different, but typically you can expect 400–900 edited images, depending on your hours of coverage.

How long will it take to receive our wedding photos?

Wedding galleries are delivered within 6-10 weeks, with a sneak peek within the first week.

Do you photograph small/intimate weddings or elopements?

Yes — I absolutely love intimate celebrations and offer custom packages for smaller weddings.

Booking, Payment & Deliverables

How much do your sessions cost?

The pricing for both my lifestyle & wedding collections are on my website under their relevant tabs.

Do you require a booking-fee?

✅ Yes! A non-refundable booking-fee is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due before or on the shoot day.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

Lifestyle sessions take 2–4 weeks.
Weddings take 6–10 weeks.

How will I receive my images?

I offer various collections.  Should you choose one of the digital collections, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can download high-resolution images.  If your collection includes prints, you’ll receive your images on a USB drive, along with the print-outs or albums included in your collections.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer flexible payment plans for certain collections. Just ask during your enquiry

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our outdoor shoot?

We’ll reschedule to the next available date or, if you’re open to it, embrace the weather for something moody and magical. Either way, you’re covered.
